Concorde.

Man's most beautiful bird.

Delta shaped, all white and sharpened as a needle, it used to cross the Atlantic at twice the speed of sound.

Its passengers were given with the gift of ubiquity, as they could take-off from London Heathrow at 9am and be in New York's Saks at 9am for breakfast.

On 2003 she took its last passengers to New York and back.

BA001 is now retired, resting from a long journey that started in 1969, when she first took-off and flew faster than the sound.

Magnificent as she is, she can be seen at many museums all over the world, proud, showing men what man can do.

Supersonic commercial flight has not concluded, it is on stand-by and will continue. Faster.
